I thought that the idea behind this episode was very clever and original. This claim uncovers a fertility doctor David Forsyth with a scheme to steal embryos and give them to different parents, prompting a custody battle between the egg donor mother and the birthparents Beau Gravitte and Camilla Scott. My only reservation about the episode is that it relies on the weak crutch of Stabler separating from his wife to try to explain why he might be more aggressive toward proving the accuser is unreliable.
