Naruto's Senju Clan is known to be one of the strongest ninja clans in the entire story. Having existed long before the formation of the hidden villages, senju clan members, the Senju Clan was always considered to be full of mighty warriors. Some of the strongest characters in the story, such as Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, senju clan members Tsunade Senju, come from this clan, so their importance to the story cannot be understated.

Senju clan members

The Senju Clan is one of the most powerful clans in Naruto. It was formed many years prior to the series, and in a short time, it became renowned for its strength. The Senju Clan members are the descendants of Asura Otsutsuki , which is why they are blessed with a great deal of chakra. Over the years, the Senju Clan has become almost obscure. This is mainly because the quality of the fighters within the clan has gone down. But at one time, the Senju Clan was filled with incredibly powerful ninjas. With that in mind, here are all the characters who hail from the Senju Clan. Nawaki was the younger brother of Tsuande. He dreamed of becoming the Hokage one day. Nawaki shared a handful of qualities with Naruto Uzumaki.

Kawarama had a great deal of talent, which earned him a lot of respect on the battlefield.

Butsuma Senju was the harsh father and ninja master to his three sons Hashirama, Tobirama, Itama. Hashirama went on to be the First Hokage. He was the strongest shinobi of his time, and hailed as the "God of Shinobi", and the only known natural user of Wood Style. Itama Senju was the brother of Hashirama and Tobirama. He died as a young boy at the hands of the Uchiha Clan.

He himself was hailed as the "God of Shinobi" for his unmatched ninja prowess. Hashirama sought peace for the shinobi world, and to that end founded Konohagakure with his clan, his childhood friend and rival: Madara Uchiha and the Uchiha clan. Although he was not able to achieve peace during his lifetime, his legacy and vision for the world would continue to shape the village and the entire shinobi world even after his death. Hashirama and his brothers grew up on the battlefield waging constant war with the Senju's rivals: the Uchiha. During his infrequent downtime, Hashirama met a boy his own age named Madara. The two quickly developed a friendly rivalry, be it skipping stones or urinating in rivers, with Hashirama typically winning their contests.

Throughout his lifetime, Tobirama would work tirelessly to achieve political stability and implement the institutions that made the village system work, thus ensuring Konoha's continuity and prosperity. Tobirama was born during the Warring States Period , and was the second of Butsuma Senju 's four sons. He and his brothers grew up on the battlefield waging constant war with their rivalling clans especially the Uchiha. After the deaths of their brothers: Kawarama and later Itama , Tobirama and his older brother, Hashirama , decided a new shinobi system would need to be implemented to end the cycle of child deaths — a system that would require an alliance between the warring clans. From tracking Hashirama, Tobirama discovered that he was meeting with a boy named Madara : a young Uchiha. After Tobirama reported this to their father, Butsuma pressured Hashirama to lead Madara into an ambush to be carried out by himself and Tobirama. Upon springing the trap, however, they were met by Madara's family — who had similar plans and while their fathers clashed — Tobirama fought Izuna Uchiha : Madara's younger brother.

They were one of the strongest clans during the Warring States Period, and co-founded the Hidden Leaf Village, alongside the Uchiha clan. He was a pragmatic leader who valued loyalty, to the village, above clans and is the second most powerful Hokage their ever was. The fact that their DNA was such a big deal and them being genetic descendants of the sage was a core plot point pretty much makes that theory impossible. But centuries of conflict began to wear on members of the clan; Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha met as children and became friends, bonding over their disapproval of the combat and death that they and their younger brothers were constantly subjected to and dreaming of a time when children wouldn't need to fight. The world of Naruto is full of incredible shinobi, each with their own unique techniques and history that make them important allies, or formidable enemies. At the pinnacle of the ninja world was the Senju clan, a family of shinobi that were famed for their strength and remembered for their society-shaping impact on the world. Though there aren't many of them that appear in the series, their influence can be felt everywhere, as their legacy includes everything from the Hidden Leaf Village, the tradition of jinchuriki, and the philosophy of peace held strongly by the show's protagonists.
