Becoming a Doctor in SimCity is a lot of exciting work, saving lives and keeping the hospital clean. It's all business, and any drama you'll have among your coworkers involves tracking down senior doctors for advice. Of all three professions, doctors seem to take the longest to really get going with variety in their jobs. Early levels of being a doctor revolve around examining patients and analyzing the samples you collect from them. You won't be doing any operations until several levels deep. When you begin your rounds, patients will start to pour in, and some patients will already be in examination rooms. Early on your objectives may simply be to greet them. To do that, introduce yourself or use any Friendly-type social interaction. You can theoretically use Romance interactions, but the patients won't appreciate it. October I'm trying it now, and it just feels like it was designed to be frustrating instead of fun. My sim is up to level 6, with a maxed out logic skill, but I swear these tests fail more times than they succeed and it takes so long just to properly diagnose anyone. I finally got the treadmill test to succeed after failing at least 6 times in a row, which it was definitely more than 6 though I wasn't always counting. I had the "swab for sample" interaction fail at least 4 times in a row recently. My sim also seems to shock the patients a little too often when trying to take their temperature. That mean interaction glitch isn't making things any better, because either my sim or the patients will randomly decide to act like total jerks.

Players with the Get To Work will get to enjoy this active career, where you can join your Sims for a day of work and actually control what happens.
