Version 1 was a former layout, and is no longer in service. It has four first class seats in a configuration, 48 business class seats in a configuration, 28 premium economy seats in a configuration, and an economy class cabin totalling seats in a configuration. The ER is fitted with a single row of the F first class seats in a configuration for a total of four seats. This is a very small and private cabin right at the front of the aircraft, with only four seats occupying a single row which makes it the most exclusive cabin in the Singapore Airlines fleet. There are no bad seats in first class in our opinion, so separating the best from the worst is certainly nitpicking. For solo travellers, the window seats A or F are an obvious choice if available. The ER has a small intimate cabin of just four First Class seats in total, the most exclusive cabin offered by the airline, with the latest F seats installed as pictured above featuring extended curved privacy partitions. Seat 1F is the furthest you can be from the single bassinet position in this cabin which is at seat 1A, as depicted. While the presence of an infant in the First Class cabin is rare, it is a possibility. Business class on the ER occupies the rear of the forward cabin section, just ahead of the second main aircraft door, and the entire second section between the second and third main doors. It is equipped in a configuration flat bed seat — the relatively new J product.
This seat is missing a window. Seat 1F is the furthest you can be from the single bassinet position in this cabin which is at seat 1A, as depicted.

Ihave say this is one of most unfomtable seats i have had sit in on a long haul flight. Seat 44 A is an Exit Row seat. Row 11 is blocked for advance seat selection until 48 hours prior to departure on long flights to Europe and the USA and 96 hours prior to flight departure time on all other flights, unless you are a PPS Club member. Fantastic location with private touch. With all the space taken by the very wide seats, it could have been better designed. Seat 48 A is a standard Economy Class seat however, the proximity to the lavatories and galleys may be bothersome. The middle seats are also bad if the isle seat wants to read, their light shines directly in your face! Seat 15D is strongly not advised if you are taller than about cm. Thank you for this great review. The seats in Premium economy were ok, reasonable leg room and extra recline. Seat 42 C juts into the aisle and is often bumped by service carts and other passengers during flight. From amenities to food to seat to service. I so wish I had pushed for row 15 again!

You may select these seats in advance for free when you book a Flexi fare type. I am cm and could barely lie down by using the longest possible diagonal. If travelling solo, one of the window seats A or K is preferable, giving you the highest level of privacy. The SQ fold-out bed feels more like a firm bed than an airplane seat you can sleep in. There is only one version of the ER in operation with Singapore Airlines. This seat is very comfortable. What did we miss? Seat 49 H is a standard Economy Class seat that has extra legroom due to the exit however, the close proximity to the lavatories and galleys may be bothersome. You will need to use the overhead bin of row 42 or center overhead bin of row This should reduce foot traffic and noise, though bear in mind premium economy passengers will be passing through this section to use the toilets at the fourth main door. They have also squeezed in an extra seat per row verse the old fitout.
I am sorry, this variant does not approach me. Who else, what can prompt?
