Skyrim faendal
Faendal is a Bosmer archer found in Riverwood.
I'm sure you have come across this question many times, but I'll go out of my way to ask it anyways. What would you choose? Faendal or Sven? I personally choose Sven, not only is he the best singer of all NPC's, but if you get the letter from Faendal, tell Camilla the truth and kill Faendal, you can find a letter on his corpse mocking Camilla. She even sends you a letter thanking you after you kill him.

Faendal is a Wood Elf thief living in Riverwood. He is the common level trainer for Archery. He is involved in a love triangle with Sven and Camilla Valerius. Should you end the love triangle in his favor, he can become a follower and later be recruited to the Blades. He is the local hunter who provides Riverwood's basic needs for meat and pelts; additionally, he works at the local lumber mill, under the watchful eye of his employer Gerdur. His workday starts every morning at 7am and lasts for twelve hours. He will either chop wood, work at the table, or simply relax by looking at the White River while leaning against the fence. Three times a day, at 7am, 11am, and 3pm, he will spend two hours carrying chopped wood to unload near Alvor 's forge. When the clock strikes 7pm, he heads back home and strolls around until 10pm when he takes a late one-hour dinner before going to bed. After only five hours of sleep, he gets out of bed again at 4am and heads up the mountain for a bit of hunting before his workday starts again. The only exception to this routine occurs upon completion of The Golden Claw , where Faendal will skip the first two hours of his workday and instead visit Camilla Valerius inside the Riverwood Trader.

When you visit the small town of Riverwood, the local beauty, Camilla Valerius, has sparked the interest of two bachelors in town. The local bard, Sven, and the wood elf hunter Faendal, are both vying for Camilla's favor; and will resort to slander and libel to win it. If you approach Sven first, at the Sleeping Giant Inn , you find out about his love for Camilla, and about his suspicions about Faendal's involvement in her life. Sven will then ask you for a favor: deliver a fake letter supposedly written by Faendal to Camilla, seemingly breaking things off with her due to her being an Imperial, and he a true-born elf. Or you may speak to Faendal first. He can be found near the lumber mill chopping wood or wandering the village. Faendal also has feelings for Camilla and a desire to see Sven out of the picture.

I skip this one because they both annoy me, and their object of affection seems to be a bit of a smart-mouthed bint. For some reason he's unkillable in my game. Fast-traveling seems to fix this. The only way to fix this on console versions without commands is to exploit the Wabbajack glitch.
