You can find a Pink Fairy and some Arrows in the pots on the right after crossing the first lava pit. Hit the next Water Fruit above the river of lava and ride the platform to the right on the flowing lava -- it won't sink until it reaches the end of the river. The Bokoblins shooting at you can be eliminated with the Bow , or you can confront them head-on to pick up some spare Arrows. The platform will start to melt around the same time you reach the end of the river, so jump off and head up the stairs to reach a Chest with a Small Key.

Once you enter the temple, run straight ahead and defeat several of the fire keese in this area. There is also a soft soil spot that you can dig up to reveal an air geyser. This leads to a treasure chest containing a red rupee. Continue northward in this room, defeating the fire keese and jumping over floating platforms. If you look at each side of the room, there are two gears, each of them having ropes attached. Cut both of the ropes with your sword and the draw bridge partially opens. Just to the right of the drawbridge, there is another rope that can be cut, this time using the beetle. Do so and the bridge will fully open. Just run up to them and slash away with your sword. The lizalfos will duck out of the way and will hold the arm guard up, protecting part of its body. Follow up the initial sword slash with a number of consecutive slashes. Repeat this process until the lizalfos has been defeated. Use your slingshot to hit one of the bomb flowers, and once it explodes, a massive floating ball will come in your direction.

Quickly jump onto the platform and jump to the other side before it sinks underneath the lava. Hit the nearby plant to drop another water bulb and create a platform. Since the lava below is moving this time around, you can jump on this platform and ride it eastward. Defeat the bokoblin archers along the way and at the end of the path, jump off the platform. Climb the steps and follow along this pathway.
