Sleep timer roku

I would prefer sleep timer roku listen to Pandora as I drift off to sleep, but it will play all night if I do so. So I listen to you tube, as it will turn off after I select one music "mix".

I have a 43in Onn. Roku tv. I'm trying to set the sleep timer. I've also downloaded the roku app, use the microphone and set the sleep timer. The tv had a banner pop up that said the sleep timer was set but the tv never turned off. There is a moon button on the remote, it does nothing.

My sleep timer option seems to have disappeared. Ive looked in my settings and its no longer there. Ive looked in my short-cuts its not there either. Did they just get rid of it? One of the sad things which I discovered about using most any e-device is If it is linked to something else, it could be remotely changed at the real owner's updates or changes whim. So I decided to add the features that cannot be changed by the same owners whenever the whim hits them. One version only has one plug in. The one pictured here has 2. Just set your selected time period plug in the unit and you good to go! If you need a sleep timer for your Roku device, add an external smart plug or timer at your wall outlet and plug both your Roku device and TV into this timer or plug. Then set the timer via a mobile app or manually and you have now equipped yourself with a sleep timer. If you need the Roku device to continue streaming for longer than 4hrs, then try Disabling both Bandwidth Saver and Auto Power Saving newer Roku devices as well as Screensaver.

I guess this is a feature request, i can't understand how this wasn't included. But a sleep timer is necessary for bedroom tv's. I already had a roku tv with a sleep timer but i bought a 4k stick to use on a better tv and come to find it has no sleep timer or other picture and audio options under the star button menu. The stick can power on and off my tv so why can't a timer be added. This is a huge disappointment that i have to keep both remotes around even after you advertise getting rid of your tv remote. Please program in a timer and put it in the next update.

One of the most underrated features on any device is a sleep timer. And until recently, a sleep timer was missing from Roku TV. No more. Now you can start watching a show, set the sleep timer, and let it lull you to sleep without worrying that you're going to be awakened hours later by the harsh glow of yet another pharmaceutical commercial. One major caveat here, though, is that the sleep timer only works while you're actually watching content. Tooling around in the Roku TV menu system won't allow for it, and same goes for on-screen guides and menus. A video actually has to be playing. And that's it. It takes just a few seconds to set a sleep timer on your Roku TV.
