I wanted to think through what I was doing as a newly single older woman and writing is how I do that, sluttery summer. I am having so much fun writing it!

Sluttery summer

The friendship between the girls is both heart-warming and realistic. The dynamics feel believable and because of this, when there was conflict I felt like it was happening to my own friends. Some of my best friends are sluts. The casual humour juxtaposed with deeper moments and heart-to-heart chats meant the drama never got too much, as it does sometimes with similar books, especially some of the ones recommended by Booktok. I could understand why Harriet felt the way she did; it made her actions and decisions make a lot more sense, and if anything it made the reader feel more connected to her as a character. And for me, my happy place is in a bar in Croatia, drinking wine with my partner and reading Happy Place which was exactly how I read it. Sluttery summer

Super late update on this one, but I have gotten very little sleep the past two days due to going to sleep late, combined with waking up early due to allergies and weather conditions changing drastically overnight making morning conditions unbearable. I got way too much sleep last night though so that should more than make up for it. Time to start coloring everything for tomorrow. The lines for this page were actually quite busy compared to some of the recent previous pages. I had to reupload page 64 as I realized I added the lines for the bottom of his eyes, which he does not have. Now that I could finally rest a bit after getting my site finished and uploaded I spent this weekend sketching out some concepts and trying out some different tools in Clip Studio Paint so that it was still productive, but more like learning than working. This image was part of a bulk upload during the creation of this site.

I have so many people following me who know me or who know the DJ that I find myself not writing some things I want to for fear of his friends reading it. Throw a sexy sweet man into that day with sex bookmarking the day and kisses throughout and that would be a perfect day to me. I had coffee and breakfast in a kickass coffee shop, went to outdoor yoga, kayaked the sound, had lunch in an old diner, lay on the sunny beach and read a book and people watched, biked 8 miles back downtown, got pizza and watched a movie. I actually pass for 15 years younger consistently. The hallway had a vinyl paper originally and now it's ordinary wallpaper. Log in now. I have not done well with rules.
