This tournament was also the North American tournament debut for Hurt and Kaninabe , two of Japan's rising stars, as well as alice 's first open North American event. A numerous amount of top players ended up underperforming at this event. Most notably, all four top Mexican players, Sparg0 , MkLeo , Maister , and Skyjay , were in attendance and tied at 17th.
