General Sonya A. She now commands all operations of the Special Forces and Units, like the new Earthrealm unit, which is Cassie 's team. She is one of the few original Mortal Kombat characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game, and was the first female character introduced in the series. Sonya represents a very emancipated and headstrong woman, but for all her stubbornness and pride, she deeply cares about the lives of her friends and comrades. She has a long-standing enmity with the Black Dragon leader, Kano , who had murdered a former partner of hers , and stands for everything Sonya despises.

Mortal Kombat Online. There's a few official threads floating about in this relativley new forum but only one about a character I actually like, though I must say XiahouDun84 did a phenomenal job with his Kitana thread. Truly spectacular. So I'm hoping I can make a thread that's even a fraction as cool as his so that fans of the lovely Miss Blade can discuss her past, present and future. No 'possible' neseccary, she's gonna be in MK8, ok?!? Meaning Lisa has been 8 for the last twenty years, perhaps it's basically the same with MK. Her father's title suggests he served in the military which might suggest Sonya wanted to follow in his footsteps. Her twin brother Daniel is known to be deceased, how he died is unkown. Some think Kano killed Daniel and that's the reason behind their animosity, others follow the movie reason which would be Sonya's partner, though the games have never mentioned it. Her appearence was probably not the most attractive but she was far from ugly.

I liked her weapon, and she did good damage in this game. Sonya was kidnapped and brought to Outworld along with Kano after the tournament, sonya blade mk1. He lunged at Sonya on a cliff edge but as she side stepped, he ran straight over the edge.

Sonya is a member of a top U. Her team was hot on the trail of Kano's Black Dragon organization. They followed them to an uncharted island where they were ambushed by Shang Tsung's personal army. Sonya is the god tier of Mortal Kombat 1. She can be played defensively and offensively. All you need to win the round with her is just one Leg Grab. This is probably the most broken move in 2d mk game history after the noob saibot's fireball in MKTrilogy.

Lieutenant Sonya Blade had been going after an international criminal organization lead by Kano called " Black Dragon. Having learned of his participation in a tournament, she defied her superiors and went after him. The two enemies were captured by Shao Kahn's forces and held as prisoners in Shao Kahn's courtyard.

I hope she's in MK8, and they should give her a great story. She wasn't much diffrent at all in anything else. After so many years, she's still the same Sonya, which to lots of Sonya fans is fine. Not to say that Sub-zero isn't great But since then I have gained an open mind and broaden my horizon. I'd like to see Kira be Sonya's antithesis. Her main focus in the movie was her enemy but it wasn't very well developed why. I was lethally excited to see her ending in particular the moment I found out about the FMV endings. So Kahn came, stripped the world of all human souls except for a select few, one of which was Sonya. MK: 3 sealed it I love her look in DA, it's very tough looking and incredibly sexy. So yeah Sonya Blade is a classic and one of my many favorites. That means giving Sonya some brand new moves as well. Her abilities are vast, mostly based on agility, as well as deadly and impressive due to her Special Forces training. I did what I couldn't allow myself to not do: I beat the game with Sonya, saw her ending, and then I had to leave MK: DA alone for a while so I could attend my own personal rehab sessions after the two continuous shocks.

It still doesn't make sense for her to wear it. I liked the lady who played her. Sonya is destined to feel loss throughout the series, it is something that makes her such a sympathetic and loveable character. Her new move, the inverted bicycle kick was a great way of catching opponents who were a little too forward and could be used brilliantly with the Leg Grab for lots of damage. How the hell you gonna just give her Kira's projectile under a new name and throw the Square-Wave-Punch at her the least memorable of Sonya's classic moves AND one that Kitana was also sharing? That butchy hairdo is just annoying on her, imo. Also some of the early rumours of this game wjrm it was MK12 mentioned Sonya was going to have a very different appearance. Not only that, but I found out I could chain it to just about any other move that knocked the opponent on his ass for unbelievable damage! I kind of owed Mileena this time around: she was my favorite on MK: II also because she was my first successful fatality , and I had thrown her aside like a prostitute whose session is up ever since I encountered Sonya in MK: 3! Boon, I don't care what stupid excuse you come up with, I want a Sonya with a fresh new face.
