The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 's open world contains many secrets. Players can explore the map for hundreds of hours without completing everything, yet somehow, such endless exploration always feels exciting. Players can take on short, bite-sized shrines or tackle longer regional storylines and temples alongside a host of other side quests, puzzles, and battles. One of the longest challenges players face is the South Lomei Labyrinth. The maze — which is located in the Gerudo Highlands at the coordinates , , — hides two shrines and a key piece of the Evil Spirit Armor set. It will take players across all three of the game's levels the surface, the sky and the depths in that order, until they eventually complete it by beating the final boss at the end. Players can glide there directly from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, which is useful to unlock both to reveal the maze's location. It's also useful as an access point to the sky section of the labyrinth later on. The climate is hot during the day, but cold at night, so players will want an armor set or several meals that will both protect against the heat and the cold. For the later sections of the labyrinth, players will also want to make sure they've already completed both the Wind Temple and the Lightning Temple as the respective Sage abilities, although not essential, will make life a lot easier. Players will also want to make sure they're equipped with a good number of arrows and plenty of meals for healing before starting the boss fight in the depths. Once ready, it's time to head to the Labyrinth's entrance. At the entrance to the maze is a small tent, a large stone with Zonai engravings and a research journal.

This page will help you get to the shrines in both the South Lomei Labyrinth and the sky labyrinth directly above it. Labyrinths in Tears of the Kingdom have three different parts that must be completed in the following order: Surface, Sky, Depths. Completing all three will reward you with a special piece of armor. The South Lomei Labyrinth is located in the Gerudo region toward the southwest of the map, on the eastern side of the Gerudo Desert. There are a couple of different ways to get to the shrine at the center of this much smaller labyrinth, depending on how you want to go about it.
Breath of the Wild. Gerudo Highlands , Gerudo. The Labyrinth is located at the southeast edge of the Gerudo Desert. The shrine quest The Desert Labyrinth is received upon entering the Labyrinth and is completed by reaching the Dila Maag Shrine at the center of the maze. The maze is not nearly as complicates as some of the other Labyrinths in Hyrule. Link can easily navigate the maze following the path below. Note: Dark blue indicates pools of Malice goo. Light blue indicates a Malice-covered block above the corridor. The shrine is in a room beneath the central corridor.

There are two ways you can solve the puzzle — and the second is quite a bit faster.

The simplest solution is to start at the entrance in the north and follow a path of acorns that a Zonai Research team NPC has left leading to the end. Something went wrong. The glowing cube is its weak spot so players should always aim for there. After activating one terminal, players can simply fast travel back to the Siyamotsus Shrine at the entrance to start the next route. If it's flying around, players can use Ascend to climb on top and hit its weak spot to bring it down to the ground. The shrine will shift and transform, the exit now inaccessible to Link. You should be able to see it in the narrow right-hand corridor from the center area. Was this guide helpful? Activating that will unluck a chasm down in the surface maze, letting you dive off this upper one, all the way down, and straight into the depths for one final labyrinth challenge. Drop down just southeast of the center then follow the quick path of acorns to the shrine and terminal.
Successful completion of this shrine quest reveals the hidden Dila Maag Shrine in the Gerudo Wasteland region.

From here, players need to build a glider and use the island's launcher to fly toward the Sky Labyrinth directly to the south. Open it to receive the Evil Spirit Mask. You can set this to track acorns, making it easier to follow the path to the center of the maze. You should be able to see it in the narrow right-hand corridor from the center area. Make a quick right , then left , then right , then left. Two are unlit. Inside, interact with the terminal to get the South Lomei Prophecy quest, which you should track. You should have enough Zonai Devices to make a Rocket-powered Fanplane, one that you can steer close enough to the entrance. Continue walking until you reach an opening on the left side of the inside labyrinth wall. The South Lomei Labyrinth must be completed in that order, with each new phase opening up once the last is completed.
