H Handguns not being prescribed firearms. P Prescribed firearms, including automatic firearms, are defined in section 5 of the Act and regulation 7 of the Regulations. A firearms licence will be endorsed with the category or categories of licence for which a licensee can possess or use a particular category of firearm.
