I'd long given up checking the status on Haus of Arms' site, but a friend texted me this evening and told me that the elusive SSK frames were supposed to start shipping. My first though twas "yeah, right. I'm "on the list" for one, but the way the whole rest of the thing happened more accurately DIDN'T , I figure somehow, my name fell off the list, never made it onto it, or who knows what other dumb luck would befall one after the all the false starts.

SSK Contender Review General Discussion. This will avoid confusion on those still waiting I picked up my frame from my Local FFL today. First impression is the fit and finish are spectacular. I really like the Two Tone Black and Stainless as it matches various barrels better than either color by itself. Hammer is the Type 3 Style. Widely considered the best by TC Shooters. I can't argue as it's by far the easiest to manipulate between rimfire, centerfire and safety.
