As someone who constantly reads and analyzes My Hero Academia, I am more than capable of recognizing any flaws it may have. I am fully aware the story is not perfect, but I am more than willing to continue reading it. That being said, there was one part of the series I abhorred. This is something that almost made me drop the series out of frustration and never pick it up again, even after following it for all these years. It was Chapters to aka the Stars and Stripes Arc. In my opinion, the worst part of the entire series.

Cathleen Bate was a tall woman with a well-muscled build. She had elegant facial features, narrow eyes, and long flowing blonde hair with eight distinct tufts swept backward and fashioned in a similar manner to the ones All Might possessed in his empowered form. Her hero costume was a high-collared skin-tight bodysuit with shoulder pads, boots and gauntlets. Fitting to her home country and hero name, the upper torso was decorated in stripes, and her gauntlets and collar are studded with metal stars. Completing the outfit was a long, striped cape that resembles of the U. As a young girl, Cathleen had long brown hair, which was dyed blonde later on. She also wore glasses. Cathleen was very brash, choosing to immediately head out to Japan to aid the fight against All For One despite the United Nations not finalizing a decision on international hero aid. She had a profound admiration for All Might, due to him saving her and her family years ago when he was studying abroad. She considered his two hair tufts to be a symbol of heroism and had her own hair styled in a similar manner with eight tufts, to symbolize her dedication of being a hero. Cathleen also admired his incredible strength, to the point where she always applied super strength to herself using her Quirk. Cathleen was also shown to have an intense desire to protect others and seek justice, to the point where she was willing to ruin her own reputation and career for the sake of others. This was best seen when she all but demands the use of the Tiamat missiles to destroy Tomura Shigaraki despite the potential international fall out it could cause. Even when told she would lose her hero license, she didn't care as she could see how much of a threat Tomura was and that it was worth the risk.

He notes how strict the United States government is when it comes to overseeing her Quirk and thinks about how the Quirk functions - touching the target, stating its name, stars and stripes mha imposing a rule of her choice - is a power so great that it's enough to redefine what a Quirk can be.
Star and Stripe Arc's name is Conjectural. No official name has been given, and it is subject to change at any time. With Tomura Shigaraki 's body nearly complete, All Might requests immediate aid from the foreign Heroes. Enter America's No. In a secret cave hideout, All For One states to Spinner that, thanks to the escaped convicts, Pro Heroes and the Police Force have been too busy to turn their full attention to them and proclaims victory on their game of hide-and-seek. Spinner says they could have also won by leaving the country, but All For One replies saying this is a short-term goal, with the next being the theft of One For All.
While All Might may have had some major setbacks lately, My Hero Academia chapter just revealed that he actually taught America's number-one hero, Star and Stripe. She's currently on her way to help her master in Japan, even without the approval of some sort of international organization that manages heroes around the globe, possibly as part of the United Nations. In chapter , All Might desperately reaches out to this international organization to send heroes to their aide after learning that Tomura Shigaraki will become All For One's complete vessel in three days. Based on the reaction from other countries and the organization itself, readers know a few things about Star and Stripe: She's impulsive, reckless, and loves All Might enough to break the rules even if it could result in her getting in trouble. That's because the organization is hesitant to dispatch any heroes on a large scale to help All Might. When heroes leave, the stability of the country they left behind wavers, which increases the likelihood of attacks from villains. The situation is even worse now as each country is facing its own existential crisis, and heroes going on a mass exodus would be catastrophic.

My Hero Academia revealed Star and Stripe's final warning with her official farewell with the newest chapter of the series! The Final Act is now getting the stage set for its next major arc, and it kicked things off with an impressive battle between Tomura Shigaraki and the United States of America's number one hero, Star and Stripe. Unfortunately for the American pro hero, Shigaraki has since gotten far more deadly and dangerous after absorbing even more of All For One's power since we had seen him during the Paranormal Liberation Front War.

Villainous Breakdown : The All For One in Shigaraki displays a rare case of rage after being denied an opportunity to use New Order, losing some of his quirks and, to top it off, seeing a "spectre of All Might". All For One is so afraid of Star making contact with Deku and One-For-All that he wheels out an incomplete Shigaraki to go an intercept her before she can make landfall. The Impulses of Youth. Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki. Even the very air she breathes can be affected. I like the idea of just having this pure utility power that would keep me as far away from the fight as possible and only be of use in more support roles like information gathering and rescue work. Nobody will know if or when the secondary charge will go off and you can set it off whenever you want, violently redirecting the ball to whomever you want. She could even use her power on incorporeal things, like the air and laser beams, which she was able to shape into constructs, even very powerful gigantic ones. Enter America's No. Nomu Hospital Raid Team vs. The most we get is was that she was saved by All Might in the Two Heroes movie, something that was an obvious attempt to give her more meaning. Don't have an account? I find him very interesting and cool, I can't help but imagine him as Uraraka's cousin in a certain way xd. Star and Stripe then orders the fighter pilots to shoot their lasers towards him from all angles. When she called out "Tomura"'s name, it was ineffective because "Tomura" is unsure about his own identity, questioning whether he is "Tomura Shigaraki," "All For One," or even "Tenko Shimura.

I do think there could be some merit if the series ended that way. An Exceptional Child. This, of course, requires Star to know their specific name as she makes contact, which is a crucial problem when Shigaraki isn't sure who he is during the arc thanks to AFO. Instead, Shigaraki's inner struggle against AFO's consciousness has jumbled their personas into an entirely new "identity" altogether. Larceny: Forget the fishing line. They could have some suit that the rocks grow around and monitors the gravitational force their body is outputting. Gatling: Humans have been fishing with guns for as long as we have had them. Despite feeling inferior to All Might, Star and Stripe became a better hero with the support of her fellow soldiers and teammates. While there seemed to be no limit to how much she was able to impede someone, even to the point of killing them, there was a limit on how much she could increase one's power, so she could not give herself infinite strength. He figures that this has to do with the naming of the target function of New Order, and that when it comes to living things, both the user and target must have the same sense of understanding about the name that is being said.
