So it's more like, "she's been ten for three years", so 10 first year 11 second year 12 third year? Just a thought. Also, with her "crew" guessing that she's twelve years old at the beginning of her interlude, and her denying it, it would be kind of funny for her to be actually twelve--and so it would make sense for Brandon to write her that way. So, yeah, doesn't look like a 13 year old in the picture I don't normally use this wiki but I stumbled upon it and figured I'd mention it.

Lift Fan art by Dominick Saporano [1]. Lift is a thief of Reshi descent, who grew up in Rall Elorim. She is currently an unofficial advisor to the Azish Prime Aqasix. Through her bond with the Cultivationspren , Wyndle , she is afforded the powers of an Edgedancer, or the Surges of Abrasion and Progression. Wyndle frequently complains that he was 'told' to bond Lift, while his preference is for a person of importance. The Ring instructed Wyndle to bond with Lift as she had visited the Nightwatcher and received a boon. Lift Tarot card by Tara Spruit [2]. Lift has long black hair and the tanned complexion of the Reshi people. She wears a loose overshirt atop a tighter brown undershirt, which she tucks into loose-cuffed trousers. She doesn't match the conventional ideal of a Radiant, being not even five feet tall, thin and wiry, looking more like an urchin than a soldier. Lift thinks of herself as a drop-dead i. Someone who goes her own way. She believes that she's supposed to stay the same, and the world is supposed to change around her. She asked for this.
At the door, they were stopped by a Regal who was keeping the crowd out.

Wyndle frequently complains that he was told to bond Lift, while his preference was for a person of importance. The Ring instructed Wyndle to bond Lift as she had visited the Nightwatcher and received a boon. Through their bond, Wyndle is responsible for Lift's "awesomeness", but she refers to him as a Voidbringer. Lift isn't supposed to be able to touch Wyndle, but she can. He states that he doesn't have enough presence in the Physical Realm , even with their bond, that she must be stuck partially in the Cognitive Realm. She thinks this is gibberish. He cannot believe that this is now his existence. Emphatically, he states that he was a gardener. Wyndle then brings up Ym without naming him and comments that what a nice co-existence he could've had with the cobbler.

Urithiru is a tower-city on Roshar that functioned as the home of the Knights Radiant and the central point of the Silver Kingdoms during the Heraldic Epochs. The current queen of Alethkar rules from the tower, [4] though Dalinar and Navani Kholin have been recognized as the king and queen of Urithiru.

To throw the Fused off their trail, Lift took the Drop to Shallan and had her create a Lightwoven copy on a regular rock, then allowed the Fused to steal the fake. With access to the Metallic Arts , she could theoretically compound Feruchemical bendalloy to Lifelight as well. Lift and Teft sneaked to the room where the Radiants were held while Kaladin fought as a distraction. Szeth declines to do so, then addresses her, asking her whether she's the one Nale is hunting. The scribe did not believe her so Lift used a spanreed to contact the Aquasix in Azimir who bade the scribes to assist Lift. During her interlude, Lift is ten years old and has been ten for three years. She advised her friend not to trust Dalinar , as she sensed he had a bloodthirsty past, before helping the emperor leave the vision early. Lift is able to interact with Wyndle even though he exists primarily in the Cognitive Realm. Even sunlight seems to melt off her skin. Venli led her to a room to wait for Rlain and Dabbid , who were happy to see her.

According to the Stormfather, Lift's boon is unique, as it allows her control over the visions entrusted to him by Honor. It appears she grew up on the streets there, learning to move through crowds with ease. It was not as much fun as it used to be, as people left food out for her to 'steal'. Wyndle believes that Cultivation altered her to exist partially in the Cognitive Realm. The Stump blamed this on him faking his injury all along so he could take from the orphanage. She had managed earlier to speak with one of the scholars to learn that Navani had been isolated for two weeks. When Lift uses Regrowth, she breathes out clouds of Lifelight which then flow into the injured person's mouth, healing them. She steals food for the challenge, rather than trying to gain any sort of wealth for herself. Worn out, she sinks down in the middle of the floor of the amphitheater. She doesn't like the idea of him stalking someone innocent. For instance, when Gawx was mortally wounded, she cared enough to return to try to save him, despite the fact that she was risking capture and death to do so.
