Hello Subnauts! We want to thank you all for your support here in reporting bugs, and providing feedback on both Subnautica and Below Zero, during the course of Early Access and beyond. I figured that I'd post about it here as well since I'm guessing that some of you would be interested to hear about it too. We're actively working on adding new features based on your feedback, we're currently working on adding more layers to the map to display all the caves and islands. Subnautica's bizarre alien life and dramatic rock formations make it easy to spend a lot of time beneath the waves, but it's also easy to get completely, where-the-hell-is-my-Seamoth kind of lost. Maybe humans just aren't built to navigate as well underwater as we do on land, or maybe Planet B needs to hire a better city planner. Whatever causes it, getting turned around under the sea is no fun. There's no such thing as an in-game Subnautica map, and even the really smart fish haven't figured out how to invent GPS satellites. To help out our fellow marooned survivors, we put together our own map and a few of our best strategies for finding your way around in Subnautica. A note on spoilers: This guide is spoiler-free. We won't give away any locations from later in the game or share directions to the fully stocked, hour supermarket hidden under the sea. That said, exploring Subnautica with no knowledge at all, getting lost, and stumbling across something amazing is a pretty great experience. If you haven't gotten into the game at all, go get your feet wet and come back here when you need help. The world you explore in Subnautica is a volcanic crater, though you wouldn't know it by sailing a boat across it.

Was really surprised this didn't exist already when I started playing. To enter coordinates from Subnautica, you need to put the last of the three numbers in the Latitude box, first one in the Longitude box. Awesome work JoelBesada! Be careful opening this web page in chrome. For the Aurora I may just need to make image overlays that you can toggle on and off or something like that. All the locations have been derived from the Subnautica Wiki. Biome entrances are basically just the entrances to the Lost River, Lava Castle etc. You need to sign in or create an account to do that. THe THe same hieght as the Biom legend top cap is where the location legend disappears.
