His behaviour outside the police station and also his arrival after the departure of Faulkner. Did I also miss something here? Is he baddie or not? Gerald Wilson Did you finish the book? Pinter seems to be one of the good guys, but who can tell with all the potential twists to come in the series. Faulkner was falsely called away. Jeff Pinter entered the office, sat down his bag and pulled out a syringe or bottle of lorezapem, obviously a threatening action, no? What did I miss? Is Pinter a part of the Circle or not?

Ryan and his team are called out to investigate. He has since been caught and is serving a life sentence in prison. Events take a turn though when a second body is found at the original site. But further examination show marks on the body which is reminiscent of events that took place on Holy Island. That storyline has been continued in Sycamore Gap and Gregson is keeping a close eye on the investigation. So multiple threads are going on in this case and a lot of questions. Are there two separate killers for our Sycamore Gap victims? Where does Kier Edwards fit in with the case?
