Want to eat out but its so expensive I've seen tastecard advertised but also read horror stories of them taking direct debits out without your permission Does anyone use Tastecard?? We had it for a year through work. Absolutely rubbish. An never be used anywhere as the window of use is so narrow. I used to have one and always used it for Pizza Express Was out with a friend last week and she has one which we used in Prezzo. It's worth getting if you eat at the restaurants that take it I think I had a free one once, or very cheap. Practically useless, as there were so many conditions set by the restaurants, it was almost impossible to navigate. It may work out better some areas than others. When it first started it was quite useful. Now it's really shit and comes with far too many restrictions with a very limited selection of restaurants compared to years ago. I have one through work and rarely use it for the reasons others have stated - the one thing we do use it for is when we get a pizza delivery which isn't very often! I was given one many years ago for free no idea where from - possibly as a bonus for opening a bank account.

Not only are the deals offered now completely lacking, meal discounts are pretty much Mon - thu if you can find anything you like and you can find similar offers on the restaurant websites yourself. They are not taking calls on the number you have provided.

Some restaurants require you to book in advance, but plenty allow you to just turn up. The offers used to be quite different, but now they are pretty similar.

Ignoring rights to cancel and if the app was having problems and I was past the cancellation time I would still be within my rights to a refund. Be warned. Will not budge on refunding - have now got Credit Card company to intervene - hopefully they'll have more joy than me. Do not waste your money. Still not received a refund yet as they say they can't find my details but they took my money and I've gave them all the information they need. Consumers are not pleased with Customer service and Turnaround Time. Fraudulent company. What is the return policy? I called them up and they refused to reverse the transaction and said I would have to keep the new cards but they would cancel them for next year.
