This subterranean labyrinth offers a multitude of challenges, rewards, and unique experiences for players seeking adventure, riches, or even just a stroll through its eerie passages. It was originally built as a prison and storage facility by the rulers of Ardougne to contain dangerous criminals and secure valuable resources. To enter Taverley Dungeon, players need to navigate their way through the quaint village of Taverley. Located to the southwest of Falador, the village is accessible via several means, including the use of a games necklace to teleport to the Burthorpe Games Room, and then walking southwest. Once in Taverley, follow the path westward until you reach the dungeon entrance. Taverley Dungeon offers a diverse range of environments, each harboring its unique challenges and rewards. Here are some of the notable zones within the dungeon:.

Taverley dungeon

The entrance to the dungeon is found at south of Taverley and west of Falador. After the Troll Warzone update it was moved much closer to a bank. This is found south of the dock just past the bridge next to the wheat patch. A Water Obelisk can only be reached by making your way through this dungeon. Water Obelisk Island is just off the coast near Catherby. There is a one-way Mithril grapple shortcut from the island to the shore which requires 36 Agility , 39 Ranged , and 22 Strength. The Dusty key is required to gain access to the deeper areas. To aquire it, simply go through the dungeon going south to the Black Knight headquarters. Enter through a narrow passageway, kill the Jailer Level 39 , and obtain the key as a drop. Once you have the key use it to open the door of the jail cell and speak to "Velrak the Explorer" to get the key. Note: if the key gets lost, simply go through the steps again to reobtain.

It contains several monsters that players can fight. When entering the dungeon for the first time, Ariane , a Signature Hero would stop players from going further in unless the player says they would investigate the situation with her. If players started but did not finish the fight against Magic Stick, when they leave the dungeon and return, they would be taken straight to the final chamber where the troll resides. Blue Dragons are assigned starting at level 65 combat. You are also required to have completed the Dragon Slayer quest for them to be assigned to you. The Taverley Dungeon is located just underneath Taverley. You can get here by teleporting to Falador and running towards the western wall. Next, climb over the agility shortcut and just northeast you will find a dungeon entrance, enter that dungeon. To access this spot, you will need to either have 70 Agility short way or a Dusty Key long way. The baby dragons count towards your slayer task and will allow you to finish the task much faster than if you would spend it killing actual Blue Dragons. Alternatively, Vorkath does count as a blue dragon task so players who who have completed Dragon Slayer 2 can kill Vorkath instead as he has some seriously good drops. Check out our Vorkath Guide. Blue Dragons are weak to stab weapons.

Taverley dungeon

There are many monsters, ranging from low to high combat levels and with the stronger ones located deeper in the dungeon. These include poisonous monsters, so bringing Antipoison potions is advised. The dungeon has the entrances of two resource dungeons : the hellhound and blue dragon resource dungeon. These require 55 and 60 minimum Dungeoneering levels to enter, respectively. The Blue dragon chamber of the dungeon and the resource dungeon accessed from this chamber are the only locations where Blue dragon scales used for herblore spawn.
