The comic book series, created by Faza Meonk, is centred on the character Juki and boasts 1. The participating clubs put a lot of effort into these visits, involving their own mascots alongside the costumed comic book star, opening the doors of their stadiums and holding interactions with their players. All of this generated excellent social media content and resulted in high levels of engagement. We love the idea that someone from Indonesia can learn about our stadium in this way. The team at Si Juki had planned an agreed amount of social media posts across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook during the campaign. The fact that they surpassed their planned total, with 62 posts across the channels, highlights how much the team enjoyed discovering the league and the clubs playing within it. This, though, is only the beginning of the collaboration. Work has begun at LaLiga on the creation of a comic that will feature all clubs, while delving further into the culture and traditions of Spain. The famous comic character visited seven different top-flight clubs across Spain leading to high levels of social media engagement. The successful influencer campaign will lead to a LaLiga comic strip that will involve all clubs playing in the competition.

While chatting together during one of our Juki Club team meet ups, Suzie and Mercedes discovered that they both share a passion for working in stretch fabrics. We asked them each to make two pairs of boxer shorts and share their tips and tricks. Suzie and Mercedes used the same pattern with some personal variations. The jersey prints were lots of fun. I decided to play it safe on the first try and I was slightly more daring with the next pair. The zebra was up first, I went for a mock fly with double stitching, as it gave me the security of getting the print matching and stable. I was able to re-purpose the perfect buttons from an old shirt in the back of my wardrobe. My main challenge was to work on the pattern matching of the zebra. If I do say so myself, I may have done a little happy dance once I saw how well it went!
