Ted-ed
TED Conferences, Ted-ed Technology, Entertainment, Design [7] is an American-Canadian non-profit [7] media organization that posts international talks online for free distribution under the slogan "ideas worth spreading". TED's early emphasis was on technology and design, consistent with its Silicon Valley origins. It later broadened to include scientific, cultural, ted-ed, political, humanitarian, ted-ed, and academic topics. The talks address a ted-ed range of topics within the research and practice of science and culture, often through storytelling.
TED-Ed — TED's youth and education initiative — aims to spark and celebrate the ideas and knowledge-sharing of teachers and students around the world. TED-Ed has grown from an idea worth spreading into an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students around the world. TED-Ed Originals are our signature content: short, award-winning animated videos about ideas and research that spark the curiosity of learners everywhere. Such experts may include TED Speakers and TED Fellows, as well as educators, designers, animators, screenwriters, directors, academic researchers, science writers, historians, journalists and editors. These original animated videos, paired with questions and resources to promote further research, make up what we refer to as TED-Ed Lessons. The TED-Ed Clubs program supports students in discovering, researching, exploring and presenting their big ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks. Each club also receives TED-Ed's flexible public speaking curriculum and opportunities to connect with a global network of passionate youth about ideas worth sharing.
