Vincent owned and operated Mobile Tool Company for many years before retiring. In addition, Vincent was employed by the Randolph Board of Education for 27 years. Vincent coached football for the both the Hopatcong Eagles and Warriors programs and also volunteered as a coach for the Hopatcong Junior Chiefs Wrestling.

On Thursday, the local community gathered at Memorial Park to celebrate the life and accomplishments of former Thorold Mayor Ted Luciani, who passed away on July Ted Luciani was born on April 20, , and he grew up in a close-knit family with 10 brothers and sisters. He had many passions and hobbies. Ted loved woodworking and he could often be found working in his garden. He had a love of food and wine and every Sunday he would surround his dining room table with friends and family. It was there that he solved the problems of the world, as he watched the ships go up and down the Canal. It is no coincidence that Ted lived next to the Welland Canal, as he had a lifelong fascination with the waterway. He spent 22 years working for the St. Ted was always looking to improve his community and in , he was elected to Thorold City Council.

Former Thorold mayor Ted Luciani is being remembered as a true friend of the community and family-oriented man after losing his battle with cancer. Luciani died last Thursday at age 75 after battling cancer for many months, something his family said he was very private about. His nieces and friends said he enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, but his passions included gardening, cooking, woodworking and sports. He cared deeply about our city, led by example, and will be sincerely missed. Ugulini said Luciani was also responsible for much of the ongoing policies including overall taxes in the city which helped transform the city into what it is today. Luciani started his political career in as a city councillor.
