Holy smokes, it has been a long time since I wrote this post, but finally I have an update. I tried the solution further down in this post and it worked for me right away. Tried launching the game a few minutes a go and tested a skirmish. So the game actually runs on Windows 10 with Lisulis fix. Since then I have purchased a new system and that one is running Windows

The Rise of the Witch-king was released on November 30, The game features a new faction, Angmar , bringing the total number of playable factions to seven.
