The Battles keep coming and so do the Steals, with a little help from Pharrell. At least Pharrell does, or so he seemed to be saying at the top of the show and demonstrating with his semi-selfless Battle picks that resulted in steals for the contestants he cut loose. All in the name of cultivating musical talent! No matter the drafting style, this season of The Voice is turning out to have talent in abundance. Anthony Riley winner vs. Perhaps because he knew…. Ameera Delandro vs. Ameera, a montage player from the Blinds, is open about her nerves from the beginning, and Sonic worries about the hearing impairment in her one ear keeping her from being able to sing well with a partner—and indeed, those are both things they struggle with in rehearsals on this pretty vocally tricky Jessie J. Not to mention, she nails the harmonies she worked so hard on and her unique tone was much more consistent here than it was in her original audition. Hannah Kirby vs. Oh boy—what a battle! And she did!
Anthony Riley winner vs. He thinks The Marilynds had "flawless" harmonies but that Parijita has such "self-awareness" and an "inviting" voice. Nobody on the panel has the heart to criticize these kids.
Each coach has one steal and one Playoff Pass. Both talk about the journey, getting to the Battles and how excited them are. Niall loves the grit that Ross brings. He thinks they are both strong and it is going to be a tough decision. Its a great song though and think you both did it justice. The performance was great, you have good chemistry, I got to see more of your personality Laura.
Some of these pairings are so good they should be duos Is that mean? Sure, but this is The Voice! And we mean business! Blake pairs these two up because they both have a huge range and power to back it up.

Six pairs of singers will go head-to-head to advance to the Knockouts later this season. Do not read ahead if you do not want this episode spoiled. The two talked about how nice it is to be singing with a friend, even if it means one of them will be eliminated. Advisor Charlie Puth talked about how Elton John is his neighbor. Puth praised both singers and told both of them to be confident and direct their eye contact out into the crowd to avoid being nervous. Cabello told the singers to have an intention and suggested practicing on the treadmill to help with breath control. The coaches praised both singers, and in the end, Cabello gave the win to Orlando Mendez. Ava Lynn was eliminated. After hearing from the other coaches, Stefani chose Cara Brindisi as the winner of the battle, however Jay Allen did not go home.
