Moscow, Russia — 28 October Tinkoff has launched a new initiative aimed at improving financial literacy among people in Russia that teaches them how to develop a healthy attitude to money, and promotes good financial habits. The new project is distinctive in that it draws on the educational expertise of leading psychologists. Through this collaboration, Tinkoff aims to investigate how to stay financially healthy and explores the major enablers and blockers in achieving this. To help people manage their money and financial instruments in a way that is right and efficient, we need a holistic approach aimed at fostering good habits and raising awareness about these instruments. Our initial results confirm that this strategy is working. The Tinkoff Journal financial literacy initiative currently comprises of the following programmes:.

Tinkoff has carried out a major upgrade of its mobile super-app , a comprehensive financial and lifestyle ecosystem where customers can take care of their banking and everyday needs in one place. The joint account will be available for use by several people at the same time, while the account holder will be able to set spending limits for each member. A single user can open up to three joint accounts. Each of them can serve up to ten users: up to five Tinkoff customers and up to five customers of other banks. The new screen also offers a simplified money transfer process.
