Teams will join the celebration of culture and rugby league across eight days at Kayo Stadium and the adjacent Dick "Tosser" Turner Sporting Complex, with every match across the five fields being livestreamed only on the Queensland Murri Carnival app. Entrants have come from far and wide, including Badu Island through to the Queensland border, with teams from under 12 and up looking to earn a chance to represent at the next level - the Murri v Koori Challenge to take place early next year. It all starts with the action-packed Open Men and Open Women competitions being held over three days, culminating in the finals on Sunday. Then it's time for more than children to shine in the Deadly Choices Junior Murri Carnival for under 6s, under 8s, under 10s and under 12s on September before the under 14, under 16 and under 18 boys, and under 15 and under 17 girls round out the carnival from September As part of the registration process, all players have been expected to be up to date with their Health Checks, adults enrolled to vote and juniors to have maintained at least a 90 per cent school attendance rate.
