With only 15 cabins, we are able to provide the personal care and attention that your cat deserves.

Treetops is a family run business large enough to be professional but small enough to care. We are located on the outskirts of Derby set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with easy access from Derby, Alfreton, Ashbourne, Belper, Ripley,and Ilkeston. We also regularly have customers that come from much further a field that have been specially recommended to us and may be visiting local attractions such as Alton Towers or travelling from a different area and using East Midlands Airport. Treetops has been under the same ownership for over 25years and you can therefore be assured that your pets are in experienced and capable hands. Our kennels and cattery occupy the same space as our home and in many respects there is no distinction. We are always close at hand to cater for your pets every need and able to create a home from home boarding environment.

Treetops Cattery is outstanding, the best cattery we have ever used. Mark the owner, is nothing less than exceptional I was very concerned about leaving my 16 year old cat in a cattery for a week, but I need not have worried after finding Treetops. Mark is amazing and an obvious cat lover. The pictures he sent and the written updates reassured me that my cat was happy. We are off this morning with Sam for his mini break with Mark at Treetops. Next year Sam will be with him for 2 weeks on our longer break. Not only is Mark a pleasant man and really interested in cats but he takes care of each individual cat as if it's his own. We are glad we found you Mark after some negative experiences with other Catteries. Treetops is set in a lovely and quiet environment with plenty of surrounding greenery. The cattery is clean and tidy with plenty of comforts for the residents. My cats were looked after excellently by Mark during their recent stay. He forwarded photos by email while we were away and it was great to see that they had settled in so well! Mark seems to really understand cats and their behaviour and needs.

I feel very pampered and well looked after treetops cattery and I'm never homesick, treetops cattery. Mark is totally understanding of cats, and took immense care to settle our two elderly females - nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and he adores cats.

This is our 'bread and butter' at Treetops Cattery, something we have done for over 30 years now. The indoor accommodation at Treetops is warm and friendly - providing the perfect home away from home. Boasting a range of family pens from our largest play-pen to smaller 'two-storey' apartments including Television and Radio to provide the complete home experience. The outdoor accommodation is set amongst the trees and provides spacious apartments for single cats or larger apartments for cat families. Each cat is allocated one day free run in the outdoor accommodation which features cat grasses, plants and a pond. We are glad we found you Mark after some negative experiences with other Catteries. I found myself in a position where I needed cattery care for my cats when they had previously had someone stay with them at home, I called around and knew I had found the right place when Mark asked about my cats, he wanted to know their likes and dislikes etc. The location was delightful and the accommodation clean, spacious and inviting. We were stuck abroad and Mark was very helpful in making sure that they were still looked after properly until we were able to get back to the UK. Our Cattery. Mark is a first class star. He made sure they were happy, contented, well-fed and healthy, and they looked in sparkling condition when we collected them. The confidence I feel leaving them here is priceless. Thank you Mark. Treetops Boarding Cattery was established in as a family owned and run business, and still continues this tradition today along with professional, friendly and unique service…. Our aim at Treetops Cattery is to provide unique, personal care for your cat while you are away from home on holidays, business or even moving interstate.

Based on our experience, if you have any doubt about leaving your cat at Treetops Cattery, don't have. When we dropped her off at Treetops she was straight out of her box and all around you which she never does! Lots of love and attention. Next year Sam will be with him for 2 weeks on our longer break. During the warmer weather, the shutters surrounding the cattery can be removed, keeping the cats nice and cool. It was her first cattery experience and I was really nervous about leaving her but I really needn't have worried. She is normally very anxious and hides in her box at other catteries. Mark was demonstrably professional - and caring. The pictures he sent and the written updates reassured me that my cat was happy. There are NO kennels associated with Treetops Cattery.
