I know very little about the frats at UF with regard to their respective reputations and whatnot. Some of my friends in my one semester at American University were Pikes but I never felt compelled to rush right away since I thought I would be there throughout my entire undergrad experience. So naturally, I decided I was going to rush Pike at UF, only to learn they were suspended until ! Any info would be helpful people. They have a monopoly over all the rest of the fraternities. Pi Kapp is good if your from Miami, S. The ones not from Miami, are from S. Might get only a few guys from Jax and Tampa. A breath of fresh air would be cool. SigEp and Sigma Chi are good too! They'll keep getting the same kind of guys, regardless of any social suspensions. That's just no good. I am not afraid to admit that some houses choose their members on more of a superficial level as well.

I know this probably isnt the right place to post this, but why is it that people view PIKE as a non-southern fraternity? I had forgotten that Delt lost their recruiting priviledges for a couple semesters. No one here defines a "top fraternity" by their commitment to philanthropy. Within the next 30 years I think there will be a re alignment with the campus expansion. However, I do believe the size of a chapter is natually tied to the campus. Any info would be helpful people. I just don't see them as a group to be anything special, and I don't think the top sororities do either. I doubt that the word is used outside the south as a definitive term. I'm guessing that Heritage Grove must be similar to our Sorority Row, where it's just off campus, but there's no reason to go by there unless you live there. White bro!
