Valve body g35

Hi, I had a check engine light come on on my G35 and I took it to the dealership to have it checked out. My understanding is that the solenoid valve controls transmission fluid and should be pretty cheap to replace. My car is not giving me any issues with sluggish shifting when I drive or going into a fail-safe mode where it wont shift into higher gears etc. My question is, should I do what the dealer is saying or do I have better options that will also save me valve body g35 like buying after market from Stillen etc, valve body g35.

If you inspect yours and dont find a broken connection, then maybe your front brake solenoid actually did fail.

Go for a second opinion, as is always prudent when quoted a large bill. The problem is that these valves are all contained in a single assembly. Unfortunately, I don;t have access to Nissan drawing. Mo, there are several fixes for this valve body. What exactly is the transmission doing??

The time now is AM. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. After removing the guide bolt, u need to support the weight of the valve body while u unplug the harness from the car. Mo1 July 5, , pm 5. Go slowly and be careful not to break the tabs off. Reinstall the valve body back onto the car. Then remove the bolts holding the TCM onto the valve body. Apparently one can not order the sensors from the manufacturer Bosch and I actually could not find the item using its product number 0 Just keep slowly prying and pulling til u get the case to fully open. You can reuse it again if its clean.
