As I write this I am looking forward to my next trip because this place is a hidden gem. We were greeted by a very charming and enthusiastic hostess who lead us to our table and then we were greeted by our cheerful waitress. My fried flounder with a shrimp and crabmeat cream sauce was done to perfection and served piping hot. The flavors were magnificent as the sauce complimented the flounder it was on. My wife got the crabmeat au gratin and plans to get again. It was rich and creamy with the right mixture of cheeses and baked until it was bubbling hot. Not much of it was left and it ended up being reheated and eaten with my leftover fish. We will definitely be going back and we will eventually try the Vera's over in Abita Springs. Was brought here by fellow instructors while in Slidell. Our group was taken care of by Savanah and she could not have been nicer. A large selection of prepared seafood from the menu we all got our orders in and were quickly served our drinks Everyone was happy with the appetizers and the entrees that they ordered. We as a group said that we would be coming back. Today I have to give them a 3 star because of the food.
