I've checked with all the salvage yards around and no one salvages them. I also checked the major after market parts supplier's like sloan express with no luck. The shaft looks like key stock but the local welding shop says it won't be hard enough.

Hired man at the time would cuss the old bolt system and realy like the new system also. I am usually the one changing the blades and it has become a chore. Occasionally, they will have some coverking decent knicks in them but I just figure that to be from hitting vermeer disc mower parts objects.
