Richard R. His research interests include computational neuroscience and efficient neural-network simulation methods, with a main focus on real-time simulation of biologically-inspired neural networks and its application to robot control. More specifically, he has conducted research on event-driven simulation schemes, cerebellar modeling and plasticity, network synchronicity, control of robotic arm trajectory and neural modeling. He implemented the initial version of the software project EDLUT , which is an efficient simulator for spiking neural networks now released as open software. You can find more information in his CV. Days after Richard Carrillo described inadequate protections from the coronavirus by the U. Bureau of Prisons and a North Dakota halfway house, a resident at his facility tested positive for Covid — and Carrillo was detained and jailed.
