Violet loved her family very much but she especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Violet was an avid fisherwoman and gardener. She volunteered throughout her life and spent many years volunteering for the Tiny Greyhound Youth Football and South Little League Baseball in Winston-Salem, continuing to volunteer in retirement at Lexington Interfaith Community Services, Lexington, SC and visiting local assisted living facilities.
