Later, the fifth Clan, SkyClan , is introduced. The Clan cats mark their borders , defend their land from enemy cats, adhere to the warrior code —a set of rules each Clan cat must follow—and train their young to survive in the forest.

A while ago, I decided I wanted to read the books in chronological order, to see how this impacted my reading experience compared to reading in publishing order. I previously created a thread like this in the past two, actually , but unfortunately they both died and ended up being locked, so I was unable to save them. So, I decided to remake this thread, adding in the newest books. I will try to do a better job of updating this list as new books come out. Warriors also known as Warrior Cats is a series of novels based on the adventures and drama of multiple Clans of feral cats. The series is primarily set in fictional forests. Published by HarperCollins , the series is written by authors Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry , as well as others, under the collective pseudonym Erin Hunter. The concept and plot of the pilot series were developed by series editor, Victoria Holmes. Other books have been released in addition to the main series, including lengthier "Super Edition" novels, several novellas, many guide books, several volumes of original English language manga , and graphic novels. The series has also been translated into several languages. The series first began when publisher HarperCollins asked Victoria Holmes to write a fantasy series about feral cats.
