Pin It As you guys know I have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of one of our bathrooms that was sponsored by Wayfair , a super creative space we completely transformed in just 30 days! I have been itching to show you guys the bathtub of my dreams. My dreams!!!! I genuinely plan to give you guys a video tour once our house is all finished so you can see just how big of fans we are of Wayfair — nearly every thing in our home was found there — no lie. As mentioned in my inspo post — Wayfair makes it so simple to shop for the items you need in a renovation or even a finished space. Craig and I measured the space we had for things we needed and with the ever to easy filters for refining a search on their website, finding our bathroom items were a breeze! The only difficulty was actually deciding between the ones that fit lol — working with two different tastes. Green walls, green counters, green everything! The space was so cramped and not very functional for our family and not the aesthetic we wanted of course. So we planned out our transformation and got started. I knew I wanted marble but decided against having it on the floor, I have wanted a cement tile look in a large washroom for ages so I went for it — and the tub, I knew I wanted a clawfoot. We debated between painting the base black or leaving it all white but after deciding on this fun and busy tile, we kept the tub white. The one faucet that did make it in time for the reveal however is the polished brass faucet for the claw foot tub, I seriously swoon whenever I look at this thing!!!!!!!! It is exactly how I pictured it and more! I love everything about this room, but adding the transom window is a great idea that few people would have thought of.

Essentially, it was an un-heated and unfinished exterior room with decking for the flooring and plywood walls but it was a good amount of space and it had the best light with all the windows. It allowed me to check so many things off my must have list. Keeping the bathroom open and giving it a feeling of breathing space was much higher on my priority list.
