One of the first choices you will be forced to make in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, is which of these companions you want to stick with — Lann or Wenduag. But even if we disregard their classes and stats, these two have wildly differing — often completely opposing — personalities and worldviews. All in all, there is a lot to consider about each one, and this is no simple choice. Wenduag is one of the companions who can join the player in the Prologue. She is encountered with her counterpart, Lann , and although both of them will join the party initially, the player must eventually choose just one of them to accompany the group on a permanent basis. Wenduag can be recruited later in the game if the player did not recruit her in the Prologue. The first opportunity to do so is in Chapter Three , during Lann's personal quest. However, if she is recruited at this point, she will later betray the player and must be killed. To recruit her permanently, the player must choose the Evil option during dialogue with Wenduag during the Chapter Three quest, telling her that she is unworthy of a place in the crusade, and ensure she survives the encounter. If this is done, she can be recruited permanently during Lann's Chapter Five quest without risk of later betrayal. Wenduag is a fighter , and comes equipped to be a competent ranged attacker.
