Job Summary: Under general supervision, assists in planning, organizing and conducting adult and children recreation activities, performs support services and does related work as required. Essential Functions: Leads recreation activities and encourages participants' interest in areas such as arts and crafts, sports, special events, etc. Sets up facility and materials for recreation activities and special events. Collects fees, and issues receipts. Interacts with parents, public, and staff participants. May perform other duties in support of the Community Services Department as assigned including but not limited to: city-wide events, day care, youth and adult sports, teen programs, recreation classes, aquatics, facility management, senior citizen programs, and other related services. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
