I just got a pack of these from the Community Center, and like an idiot, I thought they were seeds that could actually be planted in winter. They, er don't seem to be growing. In case I see another pack, when are they supposed to be planted? I haven't got around to trying the winter seeds, but you generally can't plant something unless it's the correct season. I say just give it time. You can't plant a season, silly. So what with this Seasons Seeds?

For players looking for crops to grow during Winter, the Seed Maker comes to the rescue. Aside from the wild seeds you get from the Seed Maker, nothing else can grow during that season. This fun little item lets you get seeds out of four particular fruits, which can be used to grow the other forageable produce from that season. Crafting a Seed Maker means making it to Farming Level 9. That seems rough, but it's actually one of the first skills you're likely to get to level 9 and certainly doable in the first year if you focus on crops. The Seed Maker requires 25 wood, 10 coal, and a gold bar. You can buy 5 gold ore from the Blacksmith to make it - you'll need a furnace, to smelt the metals. You do not need 4 as pictured above, because the seeds are ready in just a few minutes.
