Tuesday, March 8th, PM. I've been using the Xfinity Authenticator app basically since it was first released and it has worked as expected all that time. I use fingerprint biometrics for logging in and used that in the app for logging in to my Xfinity account online and the Xfinity Mobile site online for years. It has always worked until about months ago not sure exactly now when it started. Recently when I try to login to the Xfinity Mobile site online I get the Authenticator app notification and the fingerprint scan screen pops up on my phone, it scans and accepts my fingerprint in the app on my phone, but fails to approve the login online

Comcast Business Internet customers can visit an Xfinity Store to purchase mobile. Could be my phone , but at times, I lose service. Bottom line, it's a useless app and you're better off just using a PC browser. The two most notable differences are you must maintain a Comcast subscription and your connection will automatically transfer over to a Comcast Wi-Fi hotspot when one is in range. In times of congestion, your data may be temporarily slower than other traffic. Xfinity is constantly running new promotions to convince people to switch their mobile service, usually in the form of bill credits for bringing your own phone. Also, this app has absolutely nothing in it for xfinity voice customers to troubleshoot home phone problems. Actual speeds vary.
