These are strings made to stay, with uncompromising performance that never fades away. It protects the core and wrap wire to prevent corrosion without compromising tone or feel. I generally like their regular strings, but have little experience with their coated and treated lines. I didn't like the originals at all, but really like the 2. They are like most strings, sound a little glassy for the first few days and then settle. I am currently playing them on my Guild D50 and they sound really great.
