Kits include a lightweight T6 alloy rear sprocket, drilled and lightened case-hardened steel front sprocket, and an EK X-ring chain. They are machined to exact specs with tolerances much more stringent than other aluminum sprockets and many times tighter than OE sprockets. What this means is that your chain will fit the sprocket better and everything will last longer. Additionally, they are chemically etched to give them a uniform, even finish. This process also provides corrosion resistance. The lightweight parts and low friction chain will improve your HP 5 to 7 percent at the rear wheel. Please check with us before using any parts of a specific kit on a bike of larger displacement than it was originally intended. After 6 years and 35,km it's time to replace the OEM chain and sprocket. Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket parts? I am very satisfied with the quality and performance. I've found RK to make good chains at a reasonable price. I've used several of them. Same with JT sprockets. I'd expect a kit from RK to be good quality too. DID, RK, sure. Here's some parts I've done and will do again, you don't need all this stuff it's just for reference. Be careful, my parts are for a 44 tooth rear, don't order what you don't want by accident
