Went to see Robben play in Amsterdam last night, yamaha g50. He did five shows in Holland with a large Dutch big band called Licks and Brains. For me, bending has nothing to do with it. It depends on the guitar.

It is possible to use the Yamaha G50 without a split pickup, but in this mode the conversion is purely monophonic and the success or otherwise of the process depends to a large extent on how cleanly you can play. However, analysing the pitch of a guitar string is difficult because of the rich harmonic structure of a plucked guitar note. Furthermore, until the noise of the pick against the string has passed, there is no pitch to track, and even when the note has steadied, the process of extracting the pitch takes a finite amount of time.

A couple of friends of mine had Yamahas, which I borrowed; I never had any desire to own one. Certainly there are newer amps out there that sound just as good. Accountability and holding people This guitar is loud with broad bass and clear trebles. I gigged with a g50 for a while and, yes, it is a nice sounding amp, light and well built. Yes, Mike Stern likes them and gets a great tone or at least a great Mike Stern tone , but really the basis of his tone is playing in Stereo with the Pearce, olus OD pedals, delay, reverb and chorus, not the amp itself.
