Although Weber barbecues are easily the most popular on the market today, Australian consumers may be happy to learn that there is a local alternative — Ziegler and Brown. I'm suggesting the Ziggy with the benefit of the three burners and the fact that it can be purchased without a stand, unlike the Weber. I'd say quality wise they are both excellent. Being able to turn off the centre burner for indirect cooking is a big benefit of 3 burner systems like that on the Ziggy Triple Grill.

A little gas heater, for cooler weather outside, if their is no wood around, and my homemade reconfigured gas bottle pot belly. Or when doing stews, for a few people.

Wazza is also correct that with the 3 burners and the heat that they can produce you can easily cook with the lid open, should you choose i tend not to. BBQ Galore will deny this for copyright reasons, but I will bet almost anything they looked at the Weber Q's and said fantastic concept, great bbq and very well built, but, this one is under powered, this one has lack of flexibility etc etc.

Previously I had the Weber Q, but just needed more real estate as I grill a lot of vegetables with my steaks, so by the time i put a couple of steaks, some corn and asparagus on the grill on the i was out of space. With the Ziggy, you can cook with the lid up or down Weber recommends cooking with the lid closed. That's the best option. Need to get rid of aldi smoker to get a couple of dollars towards a baking thingo for the ziggy as I wasn't allowed any extras today it might be how long has she given me to get out, so thought I better follow orders will cook something tomorrow and see how I go.
