Print Thread. Hello I have a transmission that was given to me and the only thing I know is that it's from an old Mopar. The guy who gave it to me didn't know anything except it was from a Mopar. It was his roomate and he left it there we he moved out. He knew I was into Mopar and contacted me to get it out of there. Anyway I think it's a going by the trans. But here are some pics as well as the number on the LH side pan rail. It measures 35" from bell housing to tail shaft. Is this SB? Any help would be much appreciated. And don't forget to get that right side dowel pin installed back into block before install.

There are a few numbers on the tailhousing and I was curious if it were possible to figure out what vehicle this transmission came from. Would these be AMC numbers or Chrysler numbers?

Neither one of them is too new though. The next 2 sets of numbers don't really mean anything to you only the PK numbers. On the tail shaft in the back on one side or the other, it will have the date. Like 75 but kinda small, so look close.
