Ghost Hunters. Rate this book. Melissa Jackson Bahtsheba Sherman. I'm not sure that makes the spirits demonic or simply "lawful" following some rules we don't understand fully. Since it was over three centuries old, many people had died there over time although there were an unusual number of suicides I think. This book was all over the place and now I feel like I need to read a gossipy young adult novel to cleanse my literary palate. If people having interacted with spirits for as long as we have written history doesn't count as evidence, I think the scoffers are not being honest with themselves. Since there were several times when various people had energy sucked out of them, this approaches vampiric type activity. I think "follow the money" is a pretty good rule of thumb for checking for fraud. If it was cut back to a few chapters on topic and developed a story line with progression it would have been much better. See the full list.

Having considered it, I have to admit that tighter writing wouldn't cover the subject matter in the same depth, and showed the development of the lessons they took from their experiences. Wonder if the doll that I saw in the trailer is in 2nd book or 3rd, cause she wasn't in the first book. I've read other books on true hauntings and this was the worst. Then it's just disturbing.
