Thick, bristly hairs and spines erupt from its flesh just about everywhere, and its long hair almost fully hides its otherwise human face, except for the bright red tongue it feeds through! Bloodlickers actually behave differently depending on how well they've been fed; the nastiest are "starved" lickers found in Chalice Dungeons, and actually emerge to feed on the spilled blood of other monsters you've slain!

Why they are found in the Hunter's Nightmare is not very clear however, it could be that because the Hunter's Nightmare exists on a different "plane" its possible they were formed by the nightmare itself, projections from the hunters trapped within the nightmare, indicating that they probably could have been marked for hunts in the reality that is the City of Yharnham and its surrounding areas….
