This class is highly sought after and fills up quickly, so make sure to add it as soon as you can. Our team originally started on campus in and competed in many circuits. Since then, our team has kept going through Covid and beyond. We specialise in the construction of horse riding arenas and can advise on all types of surfaces. From excavation to drainage through to arena surfacing we offer the complete service on new projects and refurbishment of existing arenas. Whether you require a new build horse stable, extension to existing building or refurbishment contact us. We can assist you from initial design through to planning permission if required to completion of your project. We can supply and fit recommended brands of horse walkers or install your horse walker if already sourced separately. Once chosen we can take care of the rest, arena surfacing, drainage, pathways fencing and landscaping.

The CPP Equestrian Team is devoted to offering Cal Poly Pomona students opportunities to develop their horsemanship skills, regardless of riding experience and limited finances. Horse ownership is not a prerequisite to joining, however it is highly encourage and experience is necessary to show at the start of your first year. We are currently and will continue to have lessons at an outside facility called Sycamore Canyon Equestrian Center. We will also host shows at external facilities and not at W. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center. A successful student on our team shows a serious commitment to the team and lessons. We currently have lessons from two amazing Western and Hunt-seat Coaches that provide their horses for lessons and shows. This is to help place riders as well as make sure everyone on the competition team can compete at least once and is safe when getting on new horses. Volunteering is also a huge part of what makes our team work and is a responsibility of both showing and competing members.
