Great cookbook checked out from JCPL -- must put on my gift-to-myself-suggestion list. Enjoying cooking is truly an art, and with this book, I expect to unlock the next level. I don't see myself using this cookbook because it feels like too much work to flip back and forth through the pages to make sure I've got everything for the meal prep for the week. Instead of that layout, the cookbook is laid out with a section on individual ingredients like "asparagus" and "beets" that isn't different than anything you'll find in any basics cookbook. Did you? Great photos; easy to follow recipes. Though this section has the best layout I would also prefer to see the dishes from the quick assembly section connect to a recipe as a whole and not per individual item. If Lisa does another cookbook, I'd LOVE to see it laid out like her videos: A rundown of the "ingredients," how to prep them, and then how to combine them.

The blog and videos on YouTube are also a treasure trove of knowledge. But I can tell you this was a fun book to read through, and if nothing else, it will inspire you and make it feel possible.
