I did a search but got no definative information on EV ELiminator 15's with a horn. What is the general concensus on this series of speakers, and any users that could report on them would be a bonus I also wouldn't consider them entry-level speakers. I haven't used them in anything other than a bar yet, but I have no doubt they could handle a person room. Coaster, I am interested to hear what issues you've had with driving or overdriving them or any other issues for that matter. Maybe I should be driving mine a bit differently.

However I can't find a pair of these for love nor money, and they've been discontinued, I've been toying with the idea of having some built, but I cant get the plans from anywhere, no joy from Logic at the moment, I have the dimensions and front view specs etc as in the link above, but no internal plans. Anyway as I cant seem to get hold of these would these EV's do the job, they are the exact dimensions I'm looking for, I know I'll have to upgrade the drivers, but apart from that , would these cabs do the same job as the Logics, or do I try and find a cab builder and see if they can try and clone the Logics from the specs I have?????????? Many thanks in advance Mark You can't cross them over as high as the logics hz max , and you need a 40hz 24db Linkwitz Riley highpass filter as well to get the best out of them. Overall nothing earth shattering, but good solid cabs. The best thing about them is they have an internal passive crossover 80hz so you can run subs and tops off one amp if you want to. Yeah it's better if you bi amp them, but it works fine if you've got a beefy amp to run the whole system. Well my system is biamped using driverack to crossover , I have a 15" and a 2" cd as mid tops and 2 x 15" push pull on the bass, the full system should have an 18 sub on each side aswell linked to the push pull still in bi amp mode, hence the question re. The 18's. I wouldn't recommend the ev's then, especially just one aside. I can't pass any comment on the logic subs, not having heard any.

I have had no serious issues with them for the most part. Either way, be happy with those Eliminators they are a great sounding speaker for the money.
