Meanwhile in another alternate reality known as Winterworld , Simon , Fionna and Cake are beamed into an ice kingdom and are immediately pursued by the Scarab , who tagged along with the three after the events of the previous episode. They're immediately saved by a mysterious ice wizard known as The Winter King , who freezes the Scarab in place. Fionna is enamored by him and Simon realizes that the Winter King is an alternate version of himself. After the Winter King introduces himself, Cake takes his crown and runs off but is caught and brought back by one of the Winter King's double giants.
